Horse Boarding in Maryville, TN
No Openings Available At This Time. Providence Farm offers full-care boarding to a select number of horses in a boutique style to best meet the needs of the each individual horse. We are a small, family-run breeding farm specializing in the akhal-teke breed and offer limited availability for both stall and pasture board options. We also offer retirement board and cater to horses with specialized dietary needs. We live on our farm, so someone is always around for safety when riding. |
Facilities
Our farm is situated on over 14 secluded acres and features a barn with nine 12' x 12' sized stalls that are lined with rubber mats for comfort. Overhead ceiling fans help maintain good air circulation and keep the horses cooler during the hot Summer months.
A Wash area provides Hot and cold water to make bath-time comfortable for our equine partners. The insulated tack room keeps tack clean, safe, and away from extreme temperatures. Riding is available inside of one of our level pastures and jumps are available for use if desired. Access to adjoining land is also available for leisurely hacks in the fields. A round pen is available for use for ground work training and plans are in the works for an all-purpose riding arena to be installed in the future. Our farm also has the ability to accommodate a dry-lot for ponies and easy keepers if needed who can not be out on pasture. |
Stall Board
Daily turn-out is provided for our stall boarders while weather permits. Our turn-out pastures are shaded with ample space for horses to move around in with no more than 3-4 horses in the group. Hay is fed two - four times a day to our stabled horses as needed depending on how much turn-out time they had and grain is provided at breakfast and dinner. Nightly checks are made and stalls are cleaned daily. Additional hay is given when needed during the winter months on colder days.
Fly-masks are put on and removed during the Summer and Blankets are applied and removed during the cooler seasons as needed. We also can accommodate a dry-lot for small ponies who require a turn-out space with limited grazing ability. (Available to stall-boarders only) All stall board positions are full. If you wish to put your name on the list, please contact us with your horse's details and contact information so we can let you know when a stall becomes available. |
Pasture Board
Our Pasture boarders have access to our largest pasture with a shed-row style barn with 10' x 8' sized stalls used for feeding. Plenty of trees throughout the pasture provide ample shade and protection. There is also a 12x24 run-in shed available to them when not restricted to the shed-row barn lot area.
Grain is fed once a day. Horses are kept in a dry-lot attached to the shed-row barn with extra hay provided when there is drought or the condition of the pasture is poor and needs to rest. This is to protect the future quality of our pasture to maintain the best grazing conditions possible over time. Fly masks and Blankets can be put on/off upon request for an additional small, monthly fee. All pasture board positions are full. If you wish to put your name on the list, please contact us with your horse's details and contact information so we can let you know when a stall becomes available. |
